Hello Sleeper!
Did exist any culture that communicate themselves by singing on Earth?
Or another planet?
I read that the 'Iliad' was written in musical sonnets or something like that.
Frami.

Tool- sleeping beauty
Delusional I believed I could cure it all for you, dear Coax or trick or drive or drag the demons from you Make it right for you sleeping beauty Truly thought I can magically heal you
You're far beyond a visible sign of your awakening Failing miserably to rescue
Sleeping Beauty
Drunk on ego Truly thought I could make it right If I kissed you one more time to Help you face the nightmare But you're far too poisoned for me Such a fool to think that I can wake you from your slumber That I could actually heal you..
Sleeping Beauty Poisoned and hopeless You're far beyond a visible sign of your awakening Failing miserably to find a way to comfort you
Far beyond a visible sign of your awakening And hiding from some poisoned memory
Poisoned and hopeless Sleeping Beauty

Hello Dear John!
I read in one of your ATS posts that ETs like Pat Metheny music as well as you, me too. It's that right? Why do you like his music? My favorite piece is "Are you going with me?"
What's yours? As you see I'm not so young.
Thank's Frami.

Thank's Frami. I was kidding about ET liking Pat Metheny. My second all time favorite is "Are you going with me." First all time Pat Metheny favorite is "Distance" from Still Life (Talking). I almost never listen to music anymore. I couldn't tell you anything that has come out in the past 20 years. If I do listen to something in my den, which is rare, its usually Dave Grusin. I play a little keyboard. Very little. I have my original Fender Rhodes 88 suitcase which is on its last legs. I also have a Story and Clark console. I keep it tuned but I prefer to play my daughters Samick Grand (2001) which sounds like a million bucks. I mention its a 2001 because the next year Samick made a production change and the quality went downhill. At least in my opinion. Unfortunately my daughter lives in Reno so I only get to play it a couple of times a year as I live in Las Vegas. Fortunately one of those times was this morning (Tuesday) just before I drove back down to Vegas.

Hello all,
(*Picture a violin playing in the background*)
.........I"m sad
I broke my Zen-V Plus ( I would not buy an I-pod if you threatened to shoot me) today and it wont be a wile till i save up for another
But now that my Zen is gone crushed under the tire of my car .
I can't help but realize that I can't live with out hearing Fiona Apple at least once a day
Oh Fiona , I would listen to her all day long in my cab while reading a good book, then I would listen to her as I picked up my passengers and took them to their destination. To work and from work I would listen to my lovely Fiona, singing at the top of my lungs at the border........I miss her all ready
But on my life, I swear!! I will get a new MP3 player and once again dance in the clouds with my little Apple
OK enough theatrics here is one of my favorite songs ;D
......You better enjoy it TA!! Izarith.

If you are curious about Native American music I would suggest "Sacred Spirit (I or II) " as a good intro. For me the rhythms of the first Americans is soothing and soul-filled.

Well, I dreamed I saw the knights in armor coming Sayin' something about a queen There were peasants singin' and drummers drumming And the archer split the tree There was a fanfare blowin' to the sun That floated on the breeze Look at mother nature on the run in the nineteen seventies Look at mother nature on the run in the nineteen seventies
I was lyin' in a burned out basement With a full moon in my eyes I was hopin' for a replacement When the sun burst through the skies There was a band playin' in my head And I felt like getting high Thinkin' about what a friend had said, I was hopin' it was a lie Thinkin' about what a friend had said, I was hopin' it was a lie
Well, I dreamed I saw the silver spaceships flying In the yellow haze of the sun There were children crying and colors flying All around the chosen ones All in a dream, all in a dream The loading had begun Flyin' mother nature's silver seed To a new home in the sun Flyin' mother nature's silver seed To a new home in the sun
Neil Young.
