been below zero with nasty windchills for the last couple of days here in Chi-town. Are you talking about political weather or actual air temperature?

I keep my cell in my left shirt pocket. I very rarely set it to vibrate mode. But I constantly find my self feeling it vibrate when in fact it is not. It is very odd we have 3 people out of a pretty small sample reporting the same thing. Tommy, Vortices, Bear.... It's good to hear that others are experiencing this too. I'm not sure if it's an OOBE or anything like that since it happens when I'm "concious" and watching TV or just walking around or something but it's definitely a possibility. It happens to other parts of my body too like my arms and back sometimes. Like you guys, I do believe this is some type of ET contact and I think very soon they will be more revealing or at least I'm hoping they will be, especially after the first of the new year since I'll be making some positive changes in my life. That's what I'm hoping for anyway. ;D The fact that it happens to the few of us on this board is remarkable but at the same time not too surprising given our beliefs and the info we have been given here from Sleeper. I'm looking forward to hearing more about all of your experiences.

Hi Purdue, I'm not sure if it is either, just throwing it out there. I should have been a little clearer too, it happens when you are conscious and inducing an OOBE. It also only feels like a vibration. Bear

But the fuzzy part that I don't remember properly, it seemed like someone pressed the fast forward button, and I just remember flashes of faces, and that something happened?? Eevee, that's sounds about exactly what I've experienced. It's extremely fuzzy, I can only remember brief flashes of faces and my state of mind, and the feeling that something happened. It really does feel like someone pressed the fast forward button.

Bear Bear, I think I know what your talking about. Last week I took my sleeping medication and was having trouble falling asleep. So I decided to meditate to try to quite my mind. I found myself easily able to enter a pretty deep meditation. After a few minutes I could feel this spot on the back of my neck at the base of my skull start to vibrate. I could also hear this vibration. I could hear and feel the frequency of this vibration continue to increase and increase. Soon I could feel many of these spots vibrating along my spine. The force of the vibration continued to increase and soon it felt like my whole body was vibrating. When I opened my eyes I could see the world around me vibrating along with it. At points it felt like parts of my body were slightly jerking along with the more intense vibrations. At one point I really felt my vision change. It was like I could see behind me as well and the world just looked different. My narcolepsy causes some vision problems, but suddenly I could see everything clearly. I then decided I should probably go to bed and easily fell asleep. When I would wake up in the night to roll over and such, while not as strong, I could still feel the vibrations. Since then I have occasionally woken up to these vibrations. Even when I would wake up to get a glass of water, while walking to the kitchen I could feel them. Does this sound similar to what you have experienced?

I hope everyone had a warm and wonderful Christmas holiday. I have been meaning to post these dreams for a couple of days now. On the night of Dec 20 I had 3 interesting dreams. I will note that these were not the super uber lucid variety, but they were very very detailed and I was allowed to have quite abit of recall...
The main dream was a flying dream! There were of fuzzy patches, but it started out with me standing atop this huuuuuuuuge sloping cliff with this person/being / entity next me. His face seemed to covered with something metallic silver. I started out being scared...but I knew this was an ET encounter and that I needed to control my fear. So I kept repeating to myself don't be scared...don't be scared. The person / entity looked at me and smiled...then we just jumped over the edge, together. It seemed like we were falling forever (and I was loving every second of it) when he looked at me and smiled again. Then we started flying away. I don't remember much after that though. but it was intense and alot of fun.
The next dream was shorter...or I only remember a short part. I was in a hospital of sorts.....There was this 'thing' on a table that I was looking at from my hospital bed. I think it is or was a human being. 'They' said she had just given birth. I thought that was really odd. ....more fuzzy patches... I awoke in a hospital bed with this woman in a circa 1940 nurse's uniform (all white...white dress..white cap). She ran her hands just above my entire body and said that I would be all right. I got strangest feeling of familiarity that I was a pilot. Then the nurse left and she acted like she was not supposed to be there. She was being cautious and kinda sneaking around.
The third dream I can't remember anything really, just a lingering feeling of negativity...which kinda lasted into my day with me wondering what I had been shown. Possibly a past life, maybe the one right before this one...and I was a pilot in that one too! ~kewl.
...anyways I felt very grateful for getting to experience another flying dream. More like a BASE jumping dream but we didn't 'pull', we just flew away.
be well my friends, *v nods to his friend for staying on him about posting these dreams*

Cool dreams V, especially the one where the smiling ET took you on a sort of falling/ flying trip, well done for controlling the fear. But I have to say that it's not fair that you keep getting these cool flying dreams with friendly smiling ET's, I get taken to see a staring creepy doll pushed down thousands of stone steps , and thrown out of a window by some unseen entity. ;D What'd I do wrong?.

Hi all
Just on this vibration thing, this is a question I asked Lou in my first post a month or two back..I have never come across someone else who knows the feeling before now.
"Quite often, when I am in a very relaxed state in bed, I have woken or semi woken up to my head seemingly, vibrating? I mean, I feel that my head alone is vibrating and at the same time a feeling of lifting up out of the bed. I cant explain this, but it scares me sometimes and I always resist. I nod back off and it starts again. Sometimes I have to go to the loo just to wake up properly and stop it. I wonder what this is and what would happen if I did not resist."
It really felt like I was lifting up out of my body but I was too scared at the time to go through with it, I thought I was dying or something! Logically, if I was dying then I would have died anyway, you can't resist it. Next time it happens I'm going to go with it as far as possible and try to relax.
Anyway, back to the dreams! G

G Hi garys, Sometimes when I used to meditate, and when I am falling asleep, I hear this loud electric buzzing sound - a vibrating sound in my head and I find myself in some white space. It scares the hell out of me and I come back to normalness immediately. Internal vibrations and sounds are often the early indications of an approaching out-of-body experience. I refer to the inner sounds and vibrations as the vibrational state. These vibrations are commonly reported to begin at the head, neck and stomach area and spread throughout the entire body. They are often accompanied by ...This is from a guy named William Buhlman, a long time out of body experiencer.
