The other night Milton took me to the movies, paid for the popcorn and the tickets too! The movie was about the sun, it looked like our sun but he didn't say. The sun was very entertaining seemed to shrink a little and then enlarge a bit. Minutes later a near catastrophic solar flare on the right side of the sun exploded into space away from the planet. Three or more new planets emerged and the movie was over. I did lose some credibility when I posted "the sun is pregnant" on ATS a few years ago. ;D Some of the very people that had no trouble believing my wild ideas about extraterrestrials and UFOs could not swallow the concept of a star creating its own planets. Some day I will be avenged! Or carried away in a straight jacket. ;D

Lou, do you think the new planets will be taken to other places within this solar system? Does this sun (or any other one) give birth to thousands of planets during its lifetime, measured in several billion years? Thank you Lou.

Hello Sleeper, Nice to see how the Sun is coming along. Three or more planets I can see the coffee spilling on the silk ties and pocket protectors now Any speculation on the possible orbits? Three or more neighbors would make things a bit more crowded no? Hey, is this also why many beings are gathering around our neighborhood, is this event unprecedented, rare? Will this be the first time that humans will be able to record such an event? Will we be able to "see" the event or be affected by it in some way? Since Milton just gave you an impromptu private screening I guess you have to see him again for a synopsis Interesting thing though, I was thinking about your theory regarding gradual planet drift outward due to solar wind the other day. Question: What's keeping Mercury from being blown past Earth? I know you said it will move, but it's small and so close I would think that the solar wind would be more intense and have a major effect on planetary bodies regardless of size with such a close proximity. Question: What is going on with Neptune? You will be vindicated Tourmaline

Does this mean astronomers on Earth will soon discover these new bodies?

Lou, do you think the new planets will be taken to other places within this solar system? The sun can spit planets past the Oort cloud and anywhere in between. Stars produce a number of planets. Some stars more than others, some none at all. Often depends on incentives and tax credits. ;D

Hello Sleeper, Nice to see how the Sun is coming along. Three or more planets I can see the coffee spilling on the silk ties and pocket protectors now Any speculation on the possible orbits? My two cents, and I realize two cents isn't wort much now days, is that they would remain within the inner planet zip code. There is plenty of space between Mars and the sun to accommodate more planets. Would make the night sky more interesting. Possibly, more likely party crashers, looking for free food and booze. ;D For humans it is. It would also be unsettling for many scientists. Yes it would For some it would be like god showing up. The event couldn't be hidden for too long. Yeah that or to wipe off his yoo hoo mustache. Things move slowly in 3d land or we humans would get dizzy. Mass like a larger sail catches more wind. Mercury, like old fashion candle making is growing more rapidly due to its proximity to the sun's oozing energy and meteor bombardment. As it fattens up over time it will have more sail for the solar wind. They are opening up a new underground mall on Triton.

Does this mean astronomers on Earth will soon discover these new bodies? It is truly amazing how much astronomers don't see in the vast space that encompasses the solar system. They only see a small fraction of what is out there. Planets in the inner circle below Mars would we easy to see, eventually. The inner planet event hasn't taken place yet otherwise it would be all over CNN by now. ;D

Wow Lou! There can't be many humans who can say that they've actually witnessed the birth of planets, that's incredible! Oh and btw, I'm still having recurring nightmares about our trip with Milton too. ;D

I told Eevee and Izzy what we shouldn't have eaten all that heavy greasy food before the road trip. ;D *messy* ....and maybe doing shots of 'The Nectar of the Gods' was not such a good idea either. What was that outdoor area we were at? Was that on this planet? And that ring of wooden logs er something.....like a bull riding ring? I promise we will try to behave next time.......I'm just saying vortices

Oh and btw, I'm still having recurring nightmares about our trip with Milton too. ;D Yeah I almost gagged on my popcorn! ;D The star did some bizarre things that would shake up any nearby planets and before popping the star became dark for a few seconds. After the explosion, which would have wiped out any planet in the path, had one been there, a cloud of three or more planets and some other debris that emerged from the star scattered away from each other as similarly charged electrons would do. Not sure what was in that drink Milton gave me. ;D
