Hi All!
I thought about starting a thread on dreams - everybody has them and they may be more significant than first thought!
I myself have many many detailed dreams - I have always been a light sleeper so perhaps thats why I remember so many of them.
As far back as I can remember, I have also experienced lucid dreams on a regular basis. Since taking more of an active interest in Lou's experiences, I have had a number of amazing dreams. I will share my last two, perhaps you would like to share yours as they happen?
Firstly, as an experiment, as I lay ready for sleep I asked my guardians to take me somewhere memorable whilst I slept. I was not convinced anything would happen but it was worth a try.
That night, I had a lucid dream in which I was on a beach in some far away land, I remember thinking that surely there was nowhere on earth quite like it. The sea was too blue, the vegetation too exotic, the sand too pure. I lay there on the beach fully aware that I was dreaming. In my lucid dreams very often I can defy gravity and love to make huge jumps or surf through the air on the wind. On this occasion I remember having the time of my life leaping over great sand dunes. That is all I can remember, exept, and as is usually the case, I woke up just as I was about to make a sexual advance on a beautiful woman that was lay there sunbathing. Typical!!
The next I vividly remember was a day or two after. Again, before I slept I asked to be taken. I have never had a lucid dream like this before, it felt more real but at the same time was more bizarre.
I remember someone coming to collect me at my house. This male said he had come to show me something, and I must accompany him in his car to London. The car was an amazing black Bently sport, very plush interior with smoked out windows. I remember this person talking to me on the way down to London, approx 300 miles away and all the while he never looked where he was driving. It was as if the car was driving itself. I remember thinking that the journey was very quick considering the distance involved.
Anyway, we get to this grand hotel, with a porter in the doorway who greets us on entry. Remember, I have been lucid since the very beginning of this dream.
We are shown upstairs and although I see people, I don't recognise them but get the feeling they are important in some way. I am told to go to the bar to get myself a drink, and as I do the driver says that I'm at the wrong bar, I should be in the VIP lounge.
In there, strangely enough, is a work colleague. I remember feeling priviledged to be in the VIP lounge. I greet my friend and we sit down. The driver then brings a black box over and I hold it in my hand. He says this is most top secret, but he will allow me to 'play' with it for a while.
The next bit I don't remember, but I somehow find myself alone on the street of London in the daytime (was night before) with this gadget. The gadget looked like a small black cube, about the size of an ice cube, sort of rubbery to the touch. Running through the centre, protruding more from the underside was a black...thin protrudence is as best as I can describe it. There was a switch on the side of the cube.
I was told to enter a crowd and then press the switch. As I did so, my vision blurred and sound of the city became distorted. My view went 'grainy' and I was told that I was now invisible to those around me. I practised using it, and phasing in and out of my surroundings.
From that point I don't remember anything else, how I returned or anything. The dream seems to end abruptly.
If you have had a Lucid dream you will realise how real these seem at the time. I hope you enjoyed the stories and I will add more as they occur! Please share some of yours in the meantime...
Regards
