this is my first post, so please bear with me. i am not sure that this experience qualifies as a "night flight", vision, lucid dream, or what. i was just falling asleep. i seem to have experiences at this point, crossing some bridge into a sub conscious state, suddenly i veer left for albuquerque... it was stormy, a hellacious and howling wind off the pacific. i got cozy and warm under 35 quilts, but suddenly there were two presences, unseen, tugging at me, insisting i get up and go upstairs to the kitchen. i did not want to do this. i dont know who these presences were, but whoever they were, they were masters of the art of persistence. i gave up, and went upstairs. my house was on the beach, where the pacific ocean roars at night. these two guides ignored my protests of being cold, pushing, pulling, tugging me along until i was up the stairs and into my ktichen. i felt them pointing or directing my attention to the sliding glass doors that went out onto the deck. i could not see these two, have no clue as to shape, form, substance. they were like the shore patrol, rousting out an awol. pesty and unavoidable, stone walls of silence and invisibility and no interest in debating the matter. so i looked where they wanted me to look. filling that sliding door was an entity of radiant white, thin, big black eyes that wrapped around a pointy sort of head. i thought it might have been winged or cloaked, and i got close enough to note the velvet of those wings. as far as i know, which aint much, we exchanged no words. the only sense of it i got from this entity was a staggering loneliness. we stared at each other. next thing i knew, it was morning.
now tell me, who was this guy? appeared to be maybe seven feet tall, pristine white, a luminosity i cant explain, a radiance is closest.
someone suggested a moth man kind of creature but no, this entity was elegant, refined beyond our capacity to recognize, but if so, why so lonely?
what was he doing out there in that storm? all sensible beings would be a bed. neither of us qualified.
this was not my first event and hopefully, not my last, as in some inexplicable way, i miss them when they arent here, despite the fact that they dont say much.
but they are never the same species.
it doesnt seem to me that i see them by my own vision but by them revealing themselves.
but if they go to the trouble of revealing, then why not sit down and chat?

A near death experiencing friend of mine said, "Nothing actually touches each other. No atoms or anything. People mistake this fact as loneliness. But God didn't create things to be alone. He created them to be free. People mistake freedom for loneliness."

Hello Marastar, Wow, what an amazing experience you had, I am envious. I would say that it sounds like you saw an Angel/ET they are one and the same I think. When I think of a Moth man, I think of something evil, the entity you saw does not sound evil at all. You say that this was not your first experience, I would love to hear more from you. Thanks for posting!

Hello Marastar,
He might be missing his cat.
Sounds like the perfect job.....for a Private Dic.
It's a strange vers out there kiddo, And if spaghetti there can't find a doll even while driving a spaceship.....Well I'd ride right past Albuquerque next time round.
A guy like that will get you not much more than a nice pair of concrete shoes.
Chin up kiddo, like I said it's a big vers out there. Plenty of fish as the saying goes.
TA!! Izzy.

thanks you all for your replies. noface, i much appreciate your comment : "people mistake freedom for loneliness" i went thru two cups of coffee, just thinking about it. i like it when that happens.
eevee, a shaman friend of mine suggested that during these experiences, the thing was to note small detail, to key it into your memory that way. because mainly i guess when it happens, you question your own sanity, but that gets tiresome.
("show me a sane man, and i will cure him for you"...jung)
in recalling this event, all i have to do is remember the texture of his skin/cloak/wings.
i dont claim to know who/what he was. he certainly didnt explain anything.
but then, i dont get conversations, i just get visuals.
izarith, yes, passing thru the strange, without a map, just some almond M&M's and tom petty, because a girl needs something to get thru barstow in mid august, castroville in harvest, or that time portal on I-5, going thru downtown seattle. i cant dance in concrete shoes. i am in charge of the music to which i dance, over surreal landscapes and melted mountains.
i cant make any preposterous claims to special knowledge or enlightened understanding. they dont whisper their secrets to me. they reveal. nothing more.
i dont know why. i hope somebody does.

I think your Shaman friend is very right Marastar, I used to practice visualisation techniques before going to sleep sometimes. I did this in order to have better dream recall, I became very good at it, and the results were awesome. I have also asked my guides numerous times to let me remember my dreams, and I had some amazing experiences, until one dream/experience spooked me, and I asked them to stop, which they did. Now when I ask, my requests fall on seemingly deaf ears. And, now, all of a sudden I remember little or nothing of my dreams I don't know why? Someone is stealing my dreams and I want them back. Maybe he did communicate with you, but you don't remember that part, or it is just for your sub conscious mind? I would love to hear more about your experiences.

Hello Marastar – what an amazing experience and thank you for posting it. It’s actually been mulling over in my head for the last few days, I really don’t know why. A "creature" I’ve always been fascinated in is the griffin, in fact I thought of it while reading your post. Anyway it’s just a thought… grant

yet another aspect of the mystery is a rumored ufo crash in nov, 79, over the elk river bidge. witnesses including some old salt fishermen insist the craft they saw spinning over the bridge and crashing into the water was not of this earth. (see seti list of crash sites) navy seals and government suits showed up and something was retrieved out of the water, claimed to be an experimental aircraft of ours. this area is still off limits to the public. no one who was there, on, under, or close to the bridge were "allowed" to talk about it. but it is hard to shut up an old salt fisherman, and, knowing them, they spent many hours at the local tavern, jawing, until one of them disappeared, while out at sea. his boat was found, nothing was wrong, no bad weather, but he was gone. was it a coincidence that government agent types had rented his boat? some wild girls got brave on bud light and sneaked on this boat one night, when the agents were at their motel. the girls found maps, charts, graphs, of ufo bases, under the sea. there are other tragedies associated from this story. "accidental" deaths. people shut up. you cant see what you saw. but i wonder if contact experiences might not have more to do with geography than my own personal charm. i dont live in the beach house anymore and as far as i know, i havent had any exotic company lately, but i dont think they are far away, not as we understand time or distance. but a lot went on in that house. playing hide n seek with white shadows. eevee, all i have are theories. the pattern for me has been to experience some twilight zone adventure, and then for years, nothing else happens. maybe your dreams are blocked for a time, to give you relief, or time to assimilate and process something, maybe blocked due to your being "spooked". fear is the dragon to be slain. this thought always reminds me of the teachings of don juan, when his apprentice thought he saw a gigantic monster coming right at him, when he blocked his own fears, he saw it was only a gnat. that is what you do with fear. slap the little fly with a flyswatter, and go on. otherwise, you stop seeing, and that is not acceptable. do you know your guides? how? mine seem to remain stoney silent. i think of them as " the boys", two apache warriors standing like stone monuments behind me, saying nothing, but will not abide my truancy from the trail. dont waste time on envy. you have your own. the trick is to know it. sleight of hand, white shadows, what is real? to this day, not a clock in my house works. it aint all savory gravy. some of it is just danged weird.

I've had intense dreams since I picked a load of lavender from my garden and put it by the bed.
First one was 'PBS documentary' style - my best friend and I fought side by side in the Civil War battle of Appomattox, then moved west as pioneers. This coincides with the fact that he's my climbing/hiking partner and we're both military historians.
Last night's was strange. But it had a 'moral message' and it too, was very clear and detailed.
Taken in the Sleeper context, it's like my guide/probation officer moved me to an accelerated class.
Lavender is a folk remedy. People put the oil on pillowcases to enhance restful sleep.

I wonder if Lavender would work for everyone? Maybe, either way it is cool that it is working for you.
I haven't had an awesome experience in what seems like forever... until last night.
Have you ever been asleep and heard the phone ring and answered it, started to talk and then it rings again and you realize you are still asleep?
This is kind of what happened to me last night which is kind of wierd being that I can usually recognize when I am asleep and dreaming.
I sat up on my bed (I was sure I was awake) and started to get up to go to the bathroom. I looked to my right and saw myself lying asleep on the bed. When I saw myself I realized I was asleep and dreaming.
I tried to contain my excitement so I wouldn't wake myself and get slammed back into my body. Fortunately, I was able to do this and remain in a dream state.
I stood up and remembered that people had asked me if I could travel through walls while lucidly dreaming, I decided to try. Keep in mind that I was in a 100% Lucid state at this point. I walked to the wall next to my bedroom window and tried to stick my face through the wall and look outside. My face went into the wall, but no matter how far I pushed it into the wall it never came out the other side.
I walked over to the window and tried there. When I did this I went right through the window and found myself outside my house in the front yard. I couldn't believe it. I had a great feeling come over me and a great sense of freedom and power.
Generally in these dreams I can fly, but this one was a bit different. While I would claim that the others seemed to be real, this one was different in that I was truly truly 100% aware of my surroundings and everything matched with real-life perfectly, I could even see my body. It was just as it is in real-life, except that it was like I had a bit of a glow and seemed to be less dense - if that makes any sense.
It was like I was a rookie and I had to learn how to fly. When I first tried I wasn't going that fast or that far. The more I tried the further up I got until I was so far up I could see the landscape below me as being very small, at this point I could fly very, very fast as well.
I tried to go to a place I used to live, but I got frustrated because I couldn't find my way from such a height, in the dark - I used to live in a different state.
I went back to my house, I was floating above it and I went in through the roof. It was amazing, because as I entered I went through roof, into the attic space, and then into the house, evrything was exactly as it is in my waking state, down to the picture frames and pictures inside.
I left my house, went to my parents home, and flew in; I wanted to see if my mom could see me like this and what she thought of it. When I went in I could see the alarm clock on her bed-side. It read 4:17a. She was asleep on her bed. I tried to wake her by touching her shoulder, but she wouldn't wake-up or move. When I made contact with her I had an incredible feeling in my hand and up my forearm. It was a good feeling - like a connection, really, I don't know how else to explain it.
When I realized she wasn't going to wake up I left and flew back to my home. I flew around the back yard for a bit, just experimenting with what I could do.
I was still very excited and I went down to the ground to see what else I could do. I dipped my feet and legs into the pool and could feel the sensation of the water, but my feet and legs didn't get wet. I walked around like everything was normal. Then I went into my house through the back door, without opening it. When I was inside I wanted to try and turn on the faucet. I could grab the faucet, but I couldn't move it. I tried to open a cabinet door, but I couldn't. I could pass my face and body though any object and see what was on the other side, but I couldn't physically manipulate anything. It was like being invisible. I went back to my room and saw myself still asleep in bed.
I sat at the end of my bed, where I originally realized I was in a dream state, and looked around my room with a feeling of sheer euphoria, a giddy feeling, like being excited about getting something you always have wanted (like having a crush on someone you think is the Bees Knees, someone that was just out of your league, then going out with them and them actually be romantically interested in you as well). It was a great feeling.
I laid back down into my body and when I was almost all the way back into my body I felt the jolt that I refer to as being "slammed" back into my body. When I felt this I knew I was back and I woke myself up and looked immediately at the clock to see how long I was asleep, it read 4:30a.
This was a welcome experience after having those nightmares the last couple of times. I hope I get to have similiar experiences many more times throughout my life.
I also hope each and everyone of you, if you wish to, get to have an experience like this - if not just once, many times as well.
These experiences make you realize the complexity of our minds and the world we live in.
Incredible.

Hi Marastar, do you know your guides? how? I do not know my guides in that I could not tell you whether they were male/female, or how many I have, but some of them are family, and they certainly know me better than I will ever admit to knowing myself at times. In the past few months they have been trying to help me with my one important mission in life via some very lengthy, very vivid dreams with some not so subtle messages. In fact their messages were loud and clear in some dreams….they really kicked my butt. I have also had some very vivid seemingly random dreams, a man who loked like Jesus doing yoga? ;D The same man in another dream dressed like the mad hatter from Alice in Wonderland, that dream had a lot of references to time. I don't know what the hell they were all about though! ;D They know my worst fears and my deepest desires as everyone’s guides do but they can only do so much to steer me in the right direction the rest is up to me. I am a little stuck with something at the moment, maybe that is why my dreams are on hold for a while, or maybe I just need a break. Does the account you wrote about at the Elk river bridge have a personal significance for you? Also what do you mean exactly when you refer to white shadows? Taken in the Sleeper context, it's like my guide/probation officer moved me to an accelerated class. Shenacie, I know exactly what you mean with this statement, I have felt the same way in the past few months. About the Lavender, I used to use lavender oil all the time for a more restful sleep, and up until about a year ago I would sprinkle some in my son’s room every night to try to help ease his night terrors. There is something quite spine chilling about being woken in the dead of night to a young child screaming in terror. Sometimes he would tell me there was a monster in a certain corner of his room, but refused to elaborate further. The night terrors seemed to have stopped for him now though. I actually sprinkled some lavender oil under my pilow last night, I had a great nights sleep, but no dreams though. ;D

the elk river incident occurred long before we moved there but i came to know some of the participants rather well and to believe them. we lived on the beach for 12 years and during that time i stood out on my deck and watched the skies over the pacific as ships passed in the night. often. it was a busy time. living on the coast, in the ring of fire, the plates shifting ever so subtly beneath your feet, here is the edge of the world, and it moves. i was always a little seasick.
at the same time as all this ufo activity, here comes big foot, lumbering thru the cranberry bogs. the guys at the local tavern call him "that hairy guy", and have another bud lite, so i am not sure their testimony is unimpeachable. i guess the personal significance includes the people, how their lives were affected, and how it changed them.
one night i woke up suddenly and looked outside to see a huge ship, many football fields long, flying low so that i could see the belly of their ship in details, which i didnt understand. it moved in total absolute silence. next morning when the locals gathered you can bet they talked about it, but it goes no further than their coffee table. maybe another significance was having company in my madhouse.
at the same time, i am not sure the government covers things up out of some evil design as much as it is they dont know what the hell to say. rather than admit the crack in their mighty armors, they protect their reputation by insisting we are all nuts.
the white shadows are presences, not dark or evil, and apparently they like to play hide n seek.
i am going to try the lavender thing, maybe hang some on my dreamcatcher as well. thanks for the tip.

Well i can recollect a lot of dreams..some very good..other hellish, i dont know were to start, I have been en contact with ET's maybe 10 years or more now, of course i have seen the two sides (good guys and renegades), most of times i see it like dream state, i have not see any real flesh and bone alien., if that happen i think surely i would die from heart attack or something like that. Anyway one of my wakiest dream was that i was fighthing some big monster..i dont know if it was some type of dragon or something like that, i was tired afgter sometime..of course i could fly on the dream, so i fly far away, I pass our world to another one (dimension, or by flying out), very beautiful indeed, lots of fresh vegetation and there were some Et's around, of course they were blue color skin ones with wings, they didnt say anything to me they just watch me and no question ask, i was really tired and i flow myself to the mist of the forest, i was alone on that place...tired and exahusted so i dont know why i ask all the living things around me to give me some of their energy (i was feeling real exahusted) suddenly lots of ball of lights started emmanithing from every living thing around me, mostly the plants, i could see small dots of light flowing around me encapsulathing my body, then i imagine myself gething all that energy inside of me, suddenly all the balls of lights started to come and get inside of me..i fell great! i started to get energize very fast! i could feel it on my body, all the energy balls got inside of me then i woke up. I felt fresh! like a vegetable! energized, like if you took some 3 or 4 cans of redbull mixed with some beverage, i was feeling strong. All day long i felt this !! maybe was the most famouse yoo-hoo's of lou, i dont know but i felt super B all day long! weird isnt? anyway i have more dreams if anybody cares to read

That was cool dream to have.
You should go ahead and post them if you want. I know a lot of people here would enjoy the read.
Plus + You will have them on record here too, like a journal that you can refer back to later.
