I am going to name a few books of various subjects to read that can smarten us all up a little bit. I would also love to see others posts books that they think would help us on our quest for truth and Knowledge, and education.
Sleeper's books: The Shrouded Chronicles of Jesus Christ A day with an Extra-Terrestrial In League of A UFO
You can find these books at Lulu.com and amazon.com
Other Books: Adventures Beyond the Body. I haven't read all of it, sounds like fun to try.
The Sixty Second Motivator, its a good book to teach you things about how to motivate yourself and other people.
The Sixty Second Procrastinator, teaches you how to stop procrastination or give you ways to deal with your procrastinative personality.
Dr. Ron Paul: A foreign Policy of Freedom The Revolution: A Manifesto
Who Moved My Cheese, A very good business book if used in business terms. Teaches how to adapt to change, and to move on, or forward to getting your goals if used properly.
The Game Of life
A Nation Of Sheep Constitutional Chaos
A Heart Of A Leader, teaches great leadership skills. A very wonderful and inspiring read, and very short!
Dean Koontz: The Good Guy
John Perkins: Confessions Of An Economic Hitman
The sad thing is some of these books I have read, and because of Procrastination or not getting the will to read the others I haven't ready the rest of them yet........ When am I ever going to learn? I keep ordering books but not reading them. Although I am interested in them.
My problem is I can't get away from my computer when I get home from work!
Out of my soap box.
Anyways please feel free to add your favorite books, dvd's/movies I don't care that's educational, helps us seek truth, and gives us wonderful knowledge.

How to win friends and influence people. Dale Carnegie.
If you haven't heard of this before, don't be misled by the outdated title. The original is quite old but I read it when I was a teenager and starting out in life. It changed my perspectives, permanently, in a positive way.

Your my hero now because an old friend told me to read this book a while back, and I had forgotten the title and couldn't find it! You rock!

Hi jca2008, I read Sleeper's magnificent books “A day with an Extra-Terrestrial” [reading it again] and “In League With A UFO” but not “The Shrouded Chronicles of Jesus Christ”. The books I recommend are, DISCLOSURE of Dr. Steven Greer. Alien Base: Earth's Encounters with Extraterrestrials of Timothy Good. Unearthly Disclosure: Conflicting Interests in the Control of Extraterrestrial Intelligence of Timothy Good. Abduction: human encounters with Aliens of John E Mack. Genesis: of W.A. Harbinson a review of it you can read here. www.sfsite.com/05a/cm199.htm

I would also suggest "Astral Dynamics" by Robert Bruce. More of a manual really. But I think it's a good book once you get past his mind split stuff.

Sheilagh Rouse (whom Rampa called "Buttercup") just finished her memoirs of her 25 years as his assistant/ friend. I highly recommend it.

I have all 19 (I think) of his books and I am familiar with buttercup but not read her memoirs though. He does have a bit of a feline fetish found that a bit strange. I'll add this to my list. Oh man, that list is getting long. I assume everyone has read "In league with a UFO". If not, read it! It's one of the few books I got, intending to have quick look and then put down for later. I never put it down, read it in one sitting and later that day, I read it a second time. It's a page turner. While I'm here, just had a quick scan of one of my shelfs, theres a few titles I enjoyed. Here's a few; Dale Carnegie: How to stop worrying and start living. Jaques Vallee: Passport to Magonia & Dimensions Anything by Joe McMoneagle and Robert Bruce Norman Bergrun: Ringmakers of Saturn Jim Marrs: Alien Agenda I do enjoy Budd Hopkins stuff, I find it easy to read. Whitley Streibers is too full of fear but I did really enjoy Majestic.

I like: Secret of the Flying Saucers From Outer Space by Howard Menger. Howard went to the moon in 1956 (oh, sorry, Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon, I forgot) and wrote about it in his book. Unlike Neil who was so inspired by being the first man on the moon he has secluded himself for the last 39 years as if he'd been part of a hoax. And of course, to celebrate his part in the first trip to the moon, Buzz Aldrin nearly drank himself to death in the following 7 years. Howard tells about the people, the cities, the way of life, the beauty, the breathable atmosphere, the saffron colored daytime sky. A lot of stuff you can't find in "Apollo 11; The NASA Mission Reports Volume 2 Apogee Books." <snicker> But Howard, how is now 86, is living happily in Vero Beach, Florida. We email occasionally. His website is: groups.msn.com/CosmicView/fromspace2.msnwYou probably won't find a copy of Secret of the Flying Saucers From Outer Space so you can privately seethe with envy over mine. Uh, Uh, Uh……Remember! No envy, hate or greed. <snicker snicker snicker>!

I must second The Day After Roswell. I'm partway through it, good read.
The Egyptian by Mika Waltari (they REALLY need to make this into a movie)
The Greatest Miracle in the World by Og Mandino. I read this at the suggestion of my 9th grade Honors English teacher.
That's it off the top of my head. Perhaps more will follow.
Oh, and "hi" everyone! I'm new and this is my first post. *waves* :-D

I have that book and I have not finished it yet. What is really cool about that book is this: Everytime I read some of it that night I have vibrations. Sometimes they turn out to be OBEs in some form or fashion. Very cool. This can happen with other Out of Body style books I have read too. Like Robert Monroe's and Bruce Moen's sets of books. I will not say this will happen to you. Different Stokes I suppose. However, I have read that this can happen to others by simply reading about OBEs before falling asleep.
