This facinates me.
One guy on the site recognized the port hole from the space station. They are identical.
Sleeper, Is this the real deal or a fantastic fake?

I just watched this video a few times and I gotta tell ya, the attention to detail is pretty good in this - right down to smudges on the window, the lighting on the docking arm (?) and the independent motion of the orbiting satellite (?). The white out transitions between shots are also a nice touch of realism, as I used to have a JVC video camera while stationed in Japan that did the same thing.
At first I was thinking this was Alternative Three footage ... which of course, was a British fake-umentary (which may or may not be based on true or conspiratorial stories, depending on your sources) released in the 70s, IIRC, but they landed on Mars in that vid.
I'm not absolutely sure about this one, but my gut leans toward 'no'.
For one, where and how would this guy have got the alleged original footage? An explanation would be helpful. Two, as a graphic artist for nearly ten years, I'm positive this can be realistically done with readily available video editing and 3d software (Adobe Premiere, Lightwave or Cinema4D) for a PC - especially to be released as a compressed medium such as .swf/youtube video (Camtasia, for one). Such compression would obscure glaring cgi faults in the original file and still look convincingly real. Three, I didn't get the sense of scale or awe that I usually get when viewing things of this nature (maybe it's the lighting?). While that's hard to convey to others, it goes right along with gut feeling, I suppose.
Yet it IS compelling, isn't it; especially when one considers livingmoon.com's considerable wealth of data on such possibilities/realities? Perhaps von Braun did get us there and then some, but again I lean toward clever fake.
VERY clever. I'll be keeping an eye on this one.
EDIT: Here's the entire footage:
This guy's work is pretty darn good, but trust the gut! Always.

Hey Jmiskimen,
Great analysis. I agree....but...hmmmm??? what if???
Would you mind checking out the video I sent to John Lear yesterday about the moon? While you're at it, would you post your Mars full version for John to comment?
Thanks

I watched the video you posted about the anomaly at the south pole of the moon. In comparison to other pictures of anomalous sites or locations that I have looked at, it doesn't seem quite as inexplicable as many of the photos on livingmoon.com. The fact the the 'slot' is perfectly aligned with the ridges in a 'sweeping' or 'smudging' motion really opens this particular anomaly up to scrutiny, as it might be either a developing error or some other data mishap.
Of course, it also may be just what it appears to be.
There's more than enough photographic evidence out here that supports the idea that the moon is not what we've been told it is and there's more going on up there than meets the eye.
