Hey guys here is an awesome link I have found that describes in detail a lot of the techniques I have used to have OBEs. If you guys are interested, this guy is spot on with what he is talking about.

I posted a dream I had a while back where I was in my back yard and saw these two bowl type objects on the ground. I stuck my arm into one of them and it began to encase me in some sort of liquid metal.
This struck me as odd, because there were two bowls and after I got out of the substance I realized I was supposed to sit in one of them and put my feet in the other. I had no idea why I would dream something like this.
I am watching TNT as I type this and The Matrix is on. It has been years since I have seen the first one, probably since 2002. Anyway, as the movie starts and plays along there is a scene when Neo is being interviewed by Agent Smith or right after he takes the Red Pill, I can't remember which, but he gets enclosed in this liquid metal substance.
This is exactly what happened in my dream, except the liquid metal was in two bowls and they were different colors, also the initiation of the substance encasing me was different than in the movie The Matrix.
I wonder if it is that this was a memory in my sub-conscious from years earlier of the movie and I put it into my dreamscape as an experience? It is almost too much of a coincidence, but it has been 6 years since I have even thought about the movie.
Wierd eyh?

some experiencers talk about greys, but i have never seen one. the visitors i have had are never the same, not the same species, not alike in any way. over the span of my life, they have evolved in a way. in childhood, this all began with "imaginary friends", who were all light, three tall beings who could disperse themselves into thousands of bubbles of lights and fly everywhere. but mostly their shapes and forms were vague, almost like shadows except they were light shadows.
then many years later, an amber light, floating like a pool of champagne, fizzing, very deep and rich color of gold.
many years later, i woke up to see amber eyes staring at me very intensely. all i saw was a head, skin mottled with flecks of many colors, huge brain, receded small eyes, ancient. again, nothing is said, verbalized, just a lot of real intense staring, like your meanest teacher wanting your homework. and yet, that was the teacher i most wanted to please. in this experience, i did not feel the physical body of this being was present, it was more like an image, and only the head appeared.
then, there's the blue woman, sitting in a tower on a blue world, i think it might be lyra, but i dont know why i think that. she plays at some instrument i ve never seen before. the memory of her is triggered when driving thru a certain area of seattle, going thru an underpass, a tunnel, and i get a flashback of an evacuation of this other world, and of leaving the blue woman of lyra. i dont think lyra was a fun experience. it is reminiscent of being a prisoner and then set free.
these events and others are like a parade of the variety that populates the universes. these events do not fill me with fear. rather the opposite, they make me hopeful. when there is nothing to validate this frail and fragile hope, a hope that we will pass the evolutionary test, that we grow up as a species, and join the stars.
why do some people have bad experiences, and why do some have only positive ones? are we the carnival prize for some species?
what is the significance to blood lines?
is there any significance to a white temple? i keep having a dream of it, many berobed peoples milling about in front of it, but no one is allowed to enter, as the temple itself is alive, alive with knowledge. it was a strange dream.
life is a strange dream.

Nice post. It is awesome that you are seeing things like this.
It is hard to tell what they mean and who they are, but being that they are in your mind, this alone makes them real. How real? That's up to inerpretation by the experiencer.
If you continue to have experiences like this you may be able to find these answers out on your own. This is probably the best way to get the answers, as other who try to answer the questions would have to use a certain degree of speculation.
You should try to develop you dream state skills, this allows you to ask more specific questions and control your dreamscape a bit more.
Good Luck and keep us posted.

Thanks for your idea about the Omega question. I have never found a satifactory answer as to why I would see something like this in a dream, other than it may have been buried in my sub-conscious.
I have thought about it and looked at the Greek letter for Omega. Trying to find out what it could mean for me was a bit difficult and I had to keep one thing in mind, that time isn't real in a lot of different aspects.
I looked at the shape of the Omega and visualized it as a life path, if you will. Like the flat line on the left is the current state of your personal life and the flat line on the right is the future life you desire, while the loop in the middle the connects the two is what you must do to get to the flat line, or future, at the right.
I have had several ideas as to what it could be, and I have to say yours has to be one of the best so far. I will continue to try and find the answer for it, but there is likely no definite answer.

I had another pretty cool dream last night.
I was extremely tired, so tire that my eyes were barely staying open. I turned off the tube and went to bed. Withing just a few minutes I was nearly asleep, but still aware enough to try and "get out".
I rolled over and found myself standing in my room. By now I am familiar with this so I immediately flew through the window. When I got outside I heard a couple of voices coming from neighbors house.
I decided to check out the voices. On the way across the street I heard a wierd noise, so I looked up. I saw what looked like a meteor, but it had lights like an airplane on the front of it. It went off across the sky and I disregarded it at this point.
I flew further to my neighbors back porch and saw them sitting on their porch talking. I kept trying to tap the lady on the shoulder, but as usual nothing happened other than a wierd feeling in my arm.
I flew around the area for a bit and then all the sudden I was slammed back into my body. As soon as this happened I heard another noise, a noise like someone dropping a remote on the floor. At this point I remembered my little brother was staying all night at my house and it was him.
Wasn't as cool as some of my other experiences, but any of them will definitely do.

Hey esteay812,
I have been reading some of your posts and find them very interesting and its great to hear your OBE stories. Also, I was watching the video on OBE's on youtube and was wondering if I had the basic idea down of what the video was trying to get across. I guess you basically go to bed but lay still as much as you possibly can without moving much and trying to remain "conscience" until you can get your body into a "sleep paralysis" mode.
Am I close here? I found these videos very informative and have had past experience with sleep paralysis and ET contact, etc. but just wanted to try the next step with all this. I have woken up sometimes in the morning unable to move my body which at first is sort of a wierd experience but I'm working on getting used to that. I've also had experience with being slammed or thrown back into my body, it was a pretty cool feeling. All of a sudden you wake up with a sort of jump in your own bed as if you have been falling and land on your bed. It would be great to get some feedback from you on the OBE experience and how to get better at them.
Thanks and take care.

Hi there Purdue,
You sound like you are very close. It is great that you have already experienced sleep paralysis, this is the stage where OBEs are possible - so I know if you are aware of this when your next paralysis episode occurrs you should be able to take it to the next level.
The problem with waking into sleep paralysis is that you are coming out of sleep and on your way to waking up, instead of on the way to falling asleep.
Either way, if you can remain calm and gently close your eyes while in paralysis you should be able to roll out. What I mean by that is; if you stay calm and close your eyes so your not trying to actually move your arms or legs and snap out of the episode you will likely have better success.
When you close your eyes try to stay aware, but relaxed and don't try to move. After a couple minutes try to roll over out of your bed. You may feel a wierd sensation, but don't be alarmed. Continue to roll over and you should find yourself in your room standing, kneeling, or floating next to your body on the bed.
Another great way to attempt this, it has worked for me lately, is climbing a rope. When you first lay down to go to sleep make sure your body is completely relaxed and you are tired enough to fall asleep relatively quick.
Close your eyes and remain as still as possible, you will start to feel a slight tingling - for me it starts in my lower legs. Don't be alarmed and remain still. Your mind will tell you 'Roll over, you are not comfortable', this is a trick. Your mind wants to see if your body is still responding to motor messages. Remain still through these urges.
After a few minutes of remaining still begin to imagine that you are climbing a rope, like one in a wightroom or in gym class.
After several minutes of doing this you may very likely find youself having an OBE. You may also find that you do not get out this way at first, but after 10-15 minutes of thinking this if you try to roll over you will probably get out.
I hope this helps and if you have any other questions just ask and I'll help best I can.

Hey esteay812,
Yes, I noticed this a few times that sleep paralysis has happened and its always been when I am about to wake up in the morning with VERY few exceptions if any that I can recall. Still, its something that I'm going to keep working on.
Thanks for the advice. I actually tried this last night. I remember just laying in my bed flat and not moving for a while with my eyes closed. I got that tingling sensation in my legs and later to the rest of my body and it was working for a while but was unsuccessful this first time around. I guess practice with this will help later on.
Couple problem I ran into that I wanted to ask you about: 1. After a time of laying there motionless I sometimes start to twitch, certain parts of my body do anyway. Does this happen to you?? I think its partly because I'm almost falling asleep and trying not to and my physical body is looking to move anyway. Any advice on this and how to stop it if I can??
2. When you say "roll over" do you mean physically roll my body over after that amount of time has gone by or mentally thinking about "rolling over" and getting out of my body??
3. Do you try to control your breathing and all that??
Thanks for the help with this. Take care.

1. When you begin to twitch you are actually entering sleep paralysis, it is another way for your body to test whether you are asleep or not. I wouldn't try to stop it necassarily, but what should ease this is if you stretch very good before you lay down.
2. When your body is asleep and your mind is still aware you can roll over. What it feels like when you roll over is like you are actually trying to roll over, but what will happen is your Out of Body body will be rolling over. It feels like your body at first, but it is paralyzed so your conscious rolls out of your body. You will find yourself in your room, the exact room where you are sleeping. Everything will be identical to your room, but you will be able to see your body lying on the bed.
3. Not usually. You can if it makes sense to you, but for me it just seems like I am trying to concentrate on too many things and can't let my body go to sleep. When you lay down, get comfortable and take a deep breath and slowly exhale. Do this a couple times, maybe 3-4, and after the last one just breathe like what feels normal. This exercise should calm your breathing pattern and make it closer your sleep breathing pattern and you won't have to concentrate on it. The closer you get to the body asleep state the more your mind will take over the involuntary functions, like breathing.
No problem. Ask any questions you encounter and I will help the best I can, because I believe everyone should experience this at least once.
Good Luck... You should get it with practice, just try not to get frustrated if it doesn't happen right away. Just keep practicing, worst case scenario you fall to sleep easier than you did before.

Hey esteay812, I tried this again last night and I think I made more progress but didn't get the full OBE which is ok with me since it takes a while I'm sure to get the hang of it. But also, since I believe in what Sleeper has told us, that my guides will let me get full OBE's eventually but probably not right away. He has said before that it's not really in our control but, of course, we can always ask for this. It will happen eventually I'm sure.
I was trying this last night and it almost felt like I was about to roll out of my body, very cool sensation when you're actually paying attention to it and in some kind of control of the situation. When I felt like I was about to "roll out", I got an enhanced tingling sensation but I never really got out. Have you experienced this before or even now when you have a full OBE??
One thing I really noticed was that after laying there very still for what seemed like a while, I kind of gave up and actually physically got up. However, when I did get up I had this feeling like my body had been drained of energy...or just really tired, something to that effect and I can't really describe it but it was as if my body was really stiff and didn't want to move.
These are just some of my observations but it was really cool and seemed like more progress. Thanks again for the advice. Anyone else on the board reading this should give it a shot, its pretty cool stuff.

Yes , I know what you mean of the enhanced tingling feeling. It sounds like you are getting very close. When you are actually in sleep paralysis far enough to "get out" you won't notice the tingling as intensly, though it will still be there.
You seem to be getting very close. I hope you get to have an OBE soon, ask your guides for an experience and tell them why you think you deserve to have one... this could help.
When you do have a full blown OBE hold onto your socks because the experience will leave ou wanting to have them every-night, and you can with practice. I am now having them about 2 times a week, but sometimes I can got 2-3 weeks with no success.
You will probably have one pretty soon, since you are pre-disposed to sleep paralysis.
Keep on keeping on and you'll get there, I'm sure.

I had another incredible Lucid Dream last night, but this one was different and kind of scary.
I must have been coming out of the deep sleep stage, I can tell this now because of all the lucid dreams I have had. I generally have a lucid dream right before I wake up and many time I enter them half-way through, so I know they were already going on in my head I just couldn't remember them.
This lucid dream experience was no different. When I entered the dream it had apparently already been going on for a few minutes, because the first thing I remember is being in the middle of a conversation with someone. The person wasn't human and neither was I. I couldn't tell what we were, but we were definitely not human.
The sky looked just like our sky here on Earth. There were cumulus clouds in the sky. All of the sudden, with a fantastic sight, the sun let off giant flames. It looked like large teardrops made of fire, exploding outward and arcing toward Earth.
In a split second the sun grew large and the heat increased, then the sun exploded and the entire sky was full of flames coming toward the planet. I turned to run and was thinking 'This is it, this is how we all go'.
As I turned to run, knowing the end was inevitable, I felt the intense heat coming from the explosion and hoped to myself that it would be over fast. I was dead.
I was dead, but my consciousness was still alive and I had an incredible feeling of ease come over me, because I knew that the physical life wasn't the only life we experience. Before I had anymore time to think I was in outer space, a distance away from the planet. I could see the remnants of the explosion and the fires that engulfed several planets.
I was so relieved that I was out of there and I could finally explore the Universe, but I had a feeling I had been in inter-stellar space before, like I knew where I was going and what I wanted to see.
As I turned away from the explosion and the aftermath to go further into space I woke up and realized that it was only a dream.
One of the Weirdest dreams I have ever had.

SHEEEE-OT Esteay, what a freaky dream that was lucid to boot. From all the things I have read on this forum and Sleeper's comments, lends me to think this not something in-store for humanity as we know but possible you were aloud to re-live a past life during a lucid dream.......which would be super trippy!
Please allow me to give you some public encouragement with this particular thread. There are alot of people who are trying to experience obes and astral travel but are not having much luck..myself included.
Keep us posted with your 'night travels' vortices
